Fine Art Prints:

My fine art prints are now available exclusively through my Etsy shop courtesy of Bellevue Fine Art. If you don't see the print you're looking for, let me know, and I'll make it available on Etsy. The quality of the papers, colour matching, and the attention to detail at BFA is *far superior* to what is currently offered through DeviantArt. Check out the BFA feature in Art Scene Seattle or the BFA website for more info.

Commissions:

Commissions are closed through August. Between my day job, my own art shows, and working Renaissance Faires on the weekends, I will have zero days off for the entire month. In years past I've found I am unfortunately unable to finish any commissions during that time. Thanks for your understanding and your patience.

You may still commission a drawing or a painting if you wish. Normally it takes 2 weeks for completion of watercolours and pencil portraits, but I will not be starting any new commissioned projects until after 24 August. For more info, please contact me directly via email: bcduncan.art@gmail.com (I check it more frequently than DeviantArt). Check out my Etsy shop for details about custom portraits!

Ongoing Projects:

BC Duncan Design: Fine Art & Accessories - My Etsy shop! Here you can purchase prints, cards, and commissioned portraits!

Seattle Arts Coalition - I am the co-founder of the SAC, a non-profit organisation committed to providing artists with necessary tools of the professional art trade and promoting artist engagement in the Seattle community and beyond! We sponsor events for artists and artisans including exhibitions, art fairs, and forums. The SAC offers curating, installation and PR services, as well as advice and questions answered to artists interested in showing and selling their work in the Northwest.

Art Scene Seattle
- My blog! A contemporary artist's exploration of the Emerald City's creative culture through art walks, events, and exhibitions. Here you can find: the monthly Art Fix, art walk schedules, info on local art spaces, calls for art, local artist features, local business features, artist resources, and more!

Echo Echo Gallery - I am a resident artist at
Echo Echo Gallery, a studio in the Greenwood neighbourhood of Seattle. I help with curating, installation, and publicity for the monthly art walks, and you can find my work here month-round!

When I'm not art walking and raising awareness about events in the Seattle arts community, I am concentrating my energies on a few new bodies of work: "Clockwork Swarm", "Imperfect Machine", "Mechanical Aviary", and "Tangled Marionette".

Support your local art scene!

Cheers!

I am a portrait artist by trade, imperfect by choice, and a cog in the machine of human mythology by default. I draw my inspiration from the peculiar minutiae of the human form, symbolism and mythology, the empty spaces left by missing friends, and the intricate elegance created by the convergence of biological and mechanical elements.

Oh I'm so sorry ;A; I keep writing the email and I never ended up sending it. I showed it to the founder and we decided that we'd like you to draw a piece specially for the artbook rather then give in an already finished work. Not that the piece wasn't amazing but..
yeah I'm sorry
Oh gee I'm really sorry I haven't replied..
